| I think that diabetes are really bad disease because that there are many causes of it and symptoms that people could have. People have the good thing of the internet to look up all about the bad stuff that they could have. There lots of different websites or sites with facts about these diseases. Everyone should take time and look at the internet and look at videos and comments about diabetes. People have researched and put lots of effort into their websites about diabetes. I hope everyone looks at my blogs and the information that I have found and put a bunch of effort into creates these. People should take diabetes seriously and don't just think this is nothing to worry about. This could happen to everyone I am not saying that's its going to happen,it but they should take precautions towards diabetes. I hope everyone gets the best out of these and at least looks at them. Even though I am getting graded on these I am glad I can educate people on this subject. I am really glad that I choose diabetes so I can learn about it. I don't have any personal cases, but in case if anyone I know has or gets it, I can tell them to look at the blogs I made. this it a really expensive disease I bet they we don't even know that it creates $174 billon each year and $116 billon of that is direct medical expenses. I myself hope to better myself by doing this and educating people about diseases. I know I am just talking about one, but this is a really big disease. I think that someone with all the technology that everyone has access to use they should be able to fix or make cures for diabetes. I hope that it is not just me that wants diabetes to go away. I have a bunch of fun looking for information to put on these blogs and not just put the same information as everyone else. I have put lots of effort into these and lost some sleep because of these. I thank all of you for taking time out of your day and I hope you learned something. |

There are now specific cures, but there are choices or things that they could choose like managing their blood sugar, regularly exercise, or they could get weight loss surgery. When they get the weight loss surgery, it help them stable their blood sugar out and get it back in the normal spot. If after the surgery they put on some weight, then the worse the diabetes is. They could always stay up to date and check their blood sugar levels every time they eat. Make sure that they take all the medicine when they are supposed to and go to the doctor regularly. They need to report any problems they experience with their doctor. There are people in the world that cured diabetes one person who got off the insulin and cured it by doing a good diet. Dr. Gabriel Cousens has cured people with diabetes and he has 90-95% cure rate with what he does with his raw fruit. He said in a video that no one is going to cure diabetes because it is more profitable to treat it because of the price of the medicine. In his plan, there is a three- week on-site intensive meal plan seven days a week, then a one year monthly call from one of the nurses from the Tree of Life to check up on them, then a monthly video chat with the doctor Gabriel to see how they are doing. If someone needs more information then go to this website Tree of life and see how it works for yourself. Some people have gotten rid of diabetes naturally and in only 30 days. Foods that people should stay away is refined sugar, alcohol, cow's milk, grain, and GMO products. That is the first thing people should get rid of. The top food that treats diabetes is wild caught fish, high fiber foods like berries and nuts, foods high in chromium like raw cheese and green beans. Exercising is another big part of this plan they need to walk 20-30 minutes each day. Also they should do cardio or weight walking three to five days each week for 20-40 minutes. I think it is a good thing that people are trying their best to get rid of diabetes with the plan that they have researched and tested on people. They should go on the internet and search plans that could help them rather than do nothing about diabetes. I think that diabetes is a very complex disease because there are lots of steps that they have to go through to try to get rid of it. Some people these plans might not work for everyone because people have different bodies and things. http://treeoflifecenterus.com/retreat/diabetes-recovery-program/ http://www.webmd.com/diabetes/guide/is-there-a-diabetes-cure#1 https://draxe.com/how-to-reverse-diabetes-naturally-in-30-days-or-less/ Do people have increased risks for different problems? Yes it can lead to other complications like can lead to blindness. They need to live a healthy lifestyle like exercising, eat healthy and stick to a certain plan. There are a lot of different complication that could happen like kidney failure or lower limb amputations. It can cause more infections because their bodies is less immune. Can they get nerve damage from diabetes? Yes they can and it can affect lots of parts of their bodies it can hurt their digestion and cause them not able to eat certain foods. Other things it can do is make them lose feeling in their feet and sometimes they won't be able to feel any injury that may occur and they won't know what happened. Even sometimes people have to get their feet amputated the risk is 25 times better with people with diabetes that could have to get an amputation. People with diabetes should regularly examine their feet. Can diabetes lead to blindness? Diabetes is one of the main things that can affect their eyes. If they continently have high blood pressure and high cholesterol that increases their chances of getting eye problems. People need to go regularly to an eye physician to check and see if they have any problems with their eyes, or if they experience any problems can't see as good call their physician just to make sure. I think that diabetes is a very bad to get because they have make sure they go to their doctors and get a routine checkout to make sure nothing is going wrong with their body. People should always go to their doctor don't just go if the know something is wrong, everyone should go regularly. I think it is really bad when they can lose their feeling in their feet and sometimes have to have them amputated thats really severe. There are lots of different problems that could occur rather than the two I expanded on. People should just search the internet and familiarize themselves with some of the symptoms of problems that can occur with diabetes. http://www.idf.org/complications-diabetes http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diabetes/basics/complications/con-20033091 Can diabetes be inherited? Type one and two have different causes like the type two if people have identical twins, one could have and then has the 3 in 4 odds of getting diabetes too. The other reason, if they inherit a predisposition from their parents and if they are in wrong environment or bad food choices could trigger type two diabetes. Type one they can be inherited, but the type one can be triggered in the colder months like the winter. It seems to take the start or extreme signs of type one to take many years. Can a bad diet lead to diabetes? Yes, it can lead to both types of diabetes. People need to eat healthy and try to stick to a specific pattern. Earlier diets are found that people have these that they don't get diabetes. It says that if they eat solids are an earlier age that could help them or if they were breastfed. They should not have their kids drink cows milk at an earlier age that increases their risk for type 1 diabetes. They should give their kids some vitamin D that helps the kids fight away diabetes. Is environmental factor play a role in diabetes? Yes, it does such as food viruses and toxins can play role in speeding the process of diabetes. Type one diabetes sometimes can be linked to people after they have a viral infection. Sometimes the infections of viruses contain the same stuff that type one diabetes has in it. That is why everyone should stay up to date on their shots. Scientists are trying to find a vaccine that can stop both viruses and diabetes that have some of the same things together. I think that diabetes, it a very complicated disease that people should not have to live with. I think we all the technology that people have in the world that someone in this age could figure something out of this so people don't have to worry about getting diabetes. My own opinion that people probably have a cure, but will charge a whole bunch of money for a small little thing or just still want money just to keep it going. In this day of age people are out for money not to see their customers or patients to succeed that want themselves to get ahead of everyone else. https://www.niddk.nih.gov/health-information/diabetes/causes http://www.diabetes.org/diabetes-basics/genetics-of-diabetes.html?referrer=https://www.google.com/ What can they and cannot eat with diabetes? With diabetes, they can eat food they don't have to starve themselves. They say that they should stay away from fruit drinks because they are high in sugar. The most things people don't want to give up is cinnamon rolls because they have 800 calories and 120 carbs. They say that they should stay away restaurant fries because they have a lot of sodium. Good food to eat for meat is like fish, turkey lean protein meat, for vegetables eat like broccoli carrots and asparagus. Can they find diets online to follow? Yes, they can, they have to follow the directions to prepare the recipe. There is a whole bunch of websites that tell them different recipes. They can go to the American Diabetes and click on Healthy meals and they can enter their age, activity level and it will tell them how many calories they should eat. They can go to a lot of different websites I just picked this one to explain. Can they eat sweets when they have diabetes? They can eat sweets, but they have to know there is two things to remember they have to know what they are eating and how much they should eat or the serving size. They should only eat some sweets not overload on them, that's why people use sugar substitutes like Splenda or Sweet 'n' low. If they really like sweets just do their research on it and see if won't affect them. There are two sugar drinks that they should stay away like fruit juices and regular pop. I think that diabetes makes them change a whole bunch of stuff in their lifestyle they should eat right, exercise and a whole bunch of other stuff. People should realize the stuff people have to go through with the kind of problems they have to challenge themselves to get through the day. They should go online and check out the different diets that professional people have planned out for everybody. They can go to the American Diabetes association and find out how many calories they should eat in a day. http://www.diabeticlivingonline.com/food-to-eat/nutrition/22-foods-to-avoid-diabetes?page=8 http://www.everydayhealth.com/hs/managing-type-2-diabetes/best-and-worst-foods/ http://www.everydayhealth.com/type-2-diabetes/diet/enjoy-sweets-with-diabetes/ Is gestational diabetes like type 1 and type 2? Like the rest of them it is when our body can not keep up with the demand for insulin our body needs and then it can lead to a type of diabetes. About nine percent of the pregnant women in the united states have gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes is caused our blood sugar level to be higher. Even if our blood sugar level goes down, we still have a high chance of getting type 2 after they have gestational diabetes. What are the symptoms of Gestational Diabetes? Most women who are diagnosed did not have any of the symptoms. That's why all doctors try to test them in the first 24-48 week of their pregnancy. If they have more risk factors that could show that they have this type they will check them earlier in their pregnancy, and most of the women that have this type they get it after they take the test. The most common test is an oral glucose screening test, it is when their doctor gives them a sweet liquid to drink. The test shows how their body efficiently produces insulin. If their test shows that their blood sugar level is too high then they will have to go through another test. The other test is about the same they just keep drinking the sweet drink and see if their blood sugar level is still high then they will diagnose that person with Gestational Diabetes. How does Gestational Diabetes affect their pregnancy? If they keep their glucose levels down their pregnancy will go fine, but if they don't it can cause some other problems. When they have gestational diabetes, they will go into labor earlier than they should, and babies that are born early they are more likely to have health problems. They could end up getting high blood pressure from being born earlier. Most times the baby is larger when the mother has gestational diabetes, and it could cause the baby to get stuck during delivery and most babies that are larger have to be delivered by a c-section. Babies that get delivered with diabetes, they will need extra care more a while after the pregnancy. I think this is a bad thing because they can't really tell if the mother has this type right at the beginning and the test sometimes could be wrong. I know people have a worse life than I do, they could end up with these diseases and have to fight it all of their life, I think everybody takes their life granted and think they can not do anything and everybody hates them. Their are people who just try to stay alive every day and fight all the time and they just think I want to be like the other people. I think that this is the worst type of diabetes because if the mother does not get tested the kid will end up with diabetes after a while when he gets older and then they will have to deal with it. I think that people should figure out a better test for this type because this could really decrease the diabetes population because no more kids would get it. Type 2 diabetes are more common because it is when our bodies do not use insulin right. People in the United states there are at least 27.9 million people that have type 2. Type one only has three million people that have this. Of the three million 15,000 are children. People need to go the doctor and get checked out for diabetes at a young age, so we don't have to face type 2. What is different about type 1 and type 2 diabetes? Type 1 is mostly found in kids and young adults and type 2 is mostly in adults. Type 1 produces insulin, but in type 2 it does not make enough insulin for our bodies to survive.Type one is usually in young children, but once in a while it will happen in adults. Type 2 is in older people, but in recent years, young teens are getting this because of laziness. 90-95 percent of people that have diabetes in the U.S. have type 2. Can type one be prevented? No it can not be prevented, but they might have a new pill that is a blood pressure they think that it will help with type one. A group of doctors tried this on mice and it reversed the diabetes and now they are going to try it on humans. The pill has been around for 25 years and now they think that it is going to help diabetes the pills name is Verapamil. For both types it is good to have a good eating pattern and an exercising pattern down, they will increase our chances of getting this disease. I think that diabetes can be cured, but people want more money. If I was a doctor and saw all the people getting this won't you try to figure something out to help all these people. It seems like people are more concerned about how much money they have rather than how are people doing, people should give back to charities or for study of diseases. I can't believe that with the technology that people have to use that they can't make a pill or something to help people with diabetes. At least get more food recipes for people with diabetes to use and have exercise plans already made up for people to use. http://www.webmd.com/diabetes/tc/diabetes-differences-between-type-1-and-2-topic-overview https://www.cornerstones4care.com/about-diabetes/diabetes-basics/different-types-of-diabetes.html www.healthline.com/health/diabetes/facts-statistics-infographic http://www.diabetesincontrol.com/blood-pressure-drug-verapamil-diabetes-study/ http://www.webmd.com/diabetes/type-1-diabetes-guide/type-1-diabetes Can type 2 diabetes be treated? Type two is a chronic condition that affects the way your body processes blood sugar or glucose. This is very common type there are more than three million people cases in the United States. It is treatable but only a skilled professional. Everybody things that the first step in treating diabetes is to get on insulin right away, but for most if your numbers are not extremely high that is not the first step. Really the first step is to get on a healthy diet and get your exercise in. What are Some symptoms of type 2 diabetes? There are a quite a few symptoms of type two but a main one is thirst when people have diabetes people feel thirsty. After the day people feel tired and that is also a symptom and so is when people have to urinate often that is a symptom. Other things people get if your blood sugar is really low it could lead to worse things like lose your memory. People think that the insulin is going to cure their symptoms but it does not it might help but they have to eat right exercise and be prepared for anything. What is the outlook of type diabetes? Diabetes is not curable but people that exercise and lose weight they might not have to take medication anymore. When people meet a specific weight requirement your own body makes enough insulin for your to keep your levels at a good point. The outlook is good for the testing of your glucose level people don't have to draw blood. More doctors are checking kids at an earlier age so they don't to live with diabetes. I think type 2 is the worst that people can get because it can last for the rest of your life. There is a quiet few symptoms that people have to remember and they have to check their blood every time before they eat. People have to go to the doctor and get checked out so they know what's going on in their body. People are scared to go to the doctor because they know that the doctor is going to find something wrong with them, but it is better than finding it awhile later people want to get ahead of it at the beginning of it not at the end. http://www.everydayhealth.com/hs/better-type-2-diabetes-control/diabetes-treatment-not-just-insulin/ https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/000313.htm The first case of diabetes was in 1552 B.C.. In 150 AD a Greek physician described what is now diabetes as the melting of flesh into urine. Centuries after this they used to drink the patience urine and saw if it was sweet you had it and sour you did not have diabetes. In 1675 they added the word mellitus added to the word diabetes that its meaning honey and the word diabetes means siphon. Another meaning for diabetes is making too much urine. Treatment in the early years they knew that this was going to be a problem so they prescribed exercise usually horse riding because would cause you to have to go the bathroom. Other things they did was made people eat only the fat out of an animal or consume a large amount of sugar. In the early 1890's a French physician named Apollinaire Bouchardat developed some diets like the Potato Theory and the oat-cure and the starvation diet. In 1916 a scientist Elliott Joslin established himself as one of the world's top experts of diabetes. Still today the use Elliott's finding on how to try and treat diabetes. The first creation of insulin was in France 1889 and they made good start on finding an insulin. Two other scientists found out it could help diabetes if they injected in your pancreas. In 1921 they did test on animals and saw if their insulin would work. So in 1922 the first test on a human was a 14 year old boy he was about dead but the treatment saved his life. Later that year they were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine the Following year. Now today we have more technology to get the diseases out of people. People don't want to cure diseases because it is better money to treat a disease rather cure it. All they want is more money like with any disease they probably could cure it but people want to have as much money as they can. I think this is wrong to let people suffer just for money I think someone should stand up and say something or try to make something to safe all the people that are dead because of these diseases. I think someone has a plan for our life I think we're should just play the hand we are dealt and just make the best of it. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/info/diabetes/discoveryofinsulin.php http://www.everydayhealth.com/diabetes/understanding/diabetes-mellitus-through-time.aspx There is know to predict you chances of getting type 2 diabetes, but you can familiarize yourself with the symptoms for type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is usually found in children or young adults it was previous called juvenile disease. Only five percent of people have this disease. The American Diabetes Association they are really focusing on this type of diabetes so the young kids don't get it and have to live with it for the rest of their live. There a lots of symptoms that are listed that you should familiarize yourself with to protect yourself against this disease because if you realize it early you have a better chance to decrease the odds to get complicated diabetes. Woman that are pregnant can get diabetes and not even know they have it thats why they should get tested at the right time to be able to stop or slow it down. When they should get tested is around the 24th week to see if you have diabetes in you. They don't exactly know what causes this some they have some brief clues about it. Gestational Diabetes usually goes away after pregnancy but your odds of getting it again in a future pregnancy is 2 in 3. Many woman something after a few years end up with type 2. Diabetes is a problem with your body it makes your glucose level go higher than it should. The most common type of diabetes, type 2 is when your body does not use insulin properly. At first your pancreas makes enough insulin but after awhile it won't be able to keep your glucose level normal. To treat type 2 you have to test your glucose level before you eat and you have to watch what you eat. If you need suggestions to eat go to the American Diabetes Association to find recipes that you could make. I think diabetes are a bad thing to get then have to watch what you eat and have to carry around a tool to check your blood. You have pretty good odds of not getting diabetes if you watch what you do, exercise and familiarize yourself with all the symptoms. You should go to the doctor and have him check you out and see if you have diabetes early. It is better to find diabetes early because somethings you could take some medication and you maybe could get rid of it. http://diabetes.org |
